Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 rounded Tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. + 2 tsp. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 c. (or less) pecans
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0. Grease baking pan. Melt cocoa and shortening in large saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat. Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spread in 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. When done baking, cut in squares while still hot.
Makes 15 large brownies.
