Naney'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    sprinkle of salt
    5 tsp. cocoa
    3/4 c. canned cream
    3/4 c. water
    1/2 stick butter
    1 tsp. dark Karo syrup
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Mix the first 7 ingredients in heavy saucepan and cook to 232\u00b0 (soft-boil). Remove from heat and beat. Add vanilla and pecans. When it thickens, pour out on wax paper and cool. Cut into pieces. Ready to serve. Best if refrigerated for several hours before serving.
