Tomato And Rice Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. ground beef
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
1 (15 oz.) can red kidney beans
1 c. sliced carrots
1 c. sliced celery
1/4 c. uncooked rice
32 oz. can stewed tomatoes
3 1/2 c. water
5 bouillon cubes
1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried basil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. frozen or fresh cooked green beans
Preparation

Cook beef, onion and garlic in Dutch oven until brown (about 5 minutes).
Drain fat and add remaining ingredients, except green beans.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
Add green beans.
Adjust seasonings.
Better if made a day ahead.
