"Layered Lettuce Salad" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, shredded
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 bunch green onion, chopped
    1 c. chopped celery (optional)
    1 can LeSueur English peas, drained
    1 c. mayonnaise
    3 Tbsp. sugar or 6 Splenda
    1 c. cheese, grated
    bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer first 5 ingredients in large salad bowl. Mix mayonnaise and sugar or Splenda. Spread over the top of salad to seal. Let set overnight in refrigerator. Before serving, sprinkle cheese and bacon bits on top.
