Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    5 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 stick butter or oleo
Preparation
    Brown 1/2 cup sugar in skillet.
    Mix milk and 2 egg yolks. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and flour.
    Add vanilla, sugar-flour mixture and milk-egg mixture to caramelized sugar.
    Cook slowly, stirring constantly, until thick and not lumpy.
    Pour into baked pie shell. Beat egg whites; sweeten and top pie.
    Brown at 350\u00b0.
