Real Good Taffy Apples(Candied Apples) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

10 medium apples
3 c. sugar
2/3 c. water
1 tsp. lemon juice
15 whole cloves
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 to 3 drops red food coloring

Preparation

Wash and dry apples; remove stems.
Insert wooden sticks into stem end of apples; set aside.
