Cranberry Mince Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2/3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. fresh cranberries, rinsed and drained
    pastry for 2-crust pie
    1 (27 oz.) jar mincemeat
    1 egg yolk, mixed with 2 Tbsp. water
Preparation
    Place rack in lowest position in oven.
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
