Waldorf Astoria Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 oz. red food coloring (the whole bottle)
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar; add vanilla, food coloring and eggs; mix well.
    Add flour and cocoa, alternating with buttermilk.
    Fold in soda dissolved in vinegar.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes in two 8-inch or 9-inch round cake pans, greased and floured.
