Refrigerator Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. Nabisco 100% Bran
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 c. Kellogg's All-Bran
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
    1 c. raisins (if desired)
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over 100% Bran and set aside.
    Cream together the shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Stir in buttermilk, All-Bran, flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
    Add raisins. Fold Bran mixture in very carefully.
    Do not stir.
    Spoon into muffin tins.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 25 to 30 minutes.
    Batter will keep in the refrigerator for a month or more and bake as needed.
