Veggie Burger Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. water
    2/3 c. pearl barley
    2/3 c. lentils
    2/3 c. long grain brown rice
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    2 c. grated carrots
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. minced garlic
    1/4 c. shelled sunflower seeds
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    2 tsp. chopped fresh thyme
    2 tsp. chopped fresh oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 beaten eggs
    7 Tbsp. flour
    vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
    Dried herbs can be substituted, use smaller amounts.
