Grandma'S Homemade Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. milk, scalded
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    milk
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar, flour and salt and add to scalded milk. Cook until thickened.
    Cool and add vanilla.
    Put in freezer and add enough milk and some half and half until freezer is 2/3 full. This is for a gallon freezer.
