Round Steak With Sour Cream Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 1 1/2 lb. cubed round steak
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1 small can mushrooms
    cornstarch
    paprika
Preparation
    Brown steak with onion in butter.
    Add water, salt and paprika.
    Cover tightly and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
    Check periodically that the water hasn't boiled out.
    Add sour cream and mushrooms and thicken to your liking with cornstarch.
    Serve over mashed potatoes or rice.
    Serves 4.
