Polish Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (27 oz.) can sauerkraut
1 head cabbage (small), shredded
1 onion, chopped
1 apple, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 to 2 Tbsp. sugar
1 c. water
3 slices salt pork, small pieces
2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation

Wash and drain sauerkraut.
Add shredded cabbage, onion, apple, salt, pepper, sugar and water.
Cook at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour in a covered casserole.
Fry salt pork while sauerkraut is cooking.
Add 2 tablespoons flour and brown slowly.
Add pork to sauerkraut and serve.
Makes 6 servings.
