Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. cold water
1/2 c. boiling water
3 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Blend cornstarch and cold water. Add boiling water and cook until clear and thick. Chill. Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry. Turn to low speed. Add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, until dissolved. Add salt and vanilla. Beat in cold cornstarch mixture, then at high speed, beat well. Spread on pie. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
