Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. hot water (approximately)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together, adding water a couple of tablespoons at a time until dough is workable but not sticky.
    Add a little more flour, if necessary.
    Separate dough into 12 small balls.
    Roll out into circles and cook in an iron skillet or griddle, turning to brown both sides evenly.
