Hawaiian-Style Hot Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans large chunk fruit (salad)
    1 can dark pitted sweet cherries
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries
    2 bananas
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    3/4 Tbsp. curry powder
    6 Tbsp. fruit juice
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Drain fruits (reserve 6 tablespoons of juice) and put in buttered glass baking dish.
    Cut and arrange bananas on top. Combine and mix together the brown sugar, cornstarch and curry powder.
    Add fruit juice and butter.
    Pour mixture over fruits. Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 6 servings.
