Strawberry-Rhubarb Ice Milk - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar, divided*
    1 c. sliced rhubarb (1/2 lb.)
    1/2 c. water
    3 1/2 c. fresh strawberries, divided
    2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 1/4 c. 1% low-fat milk
    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated skimmed milk
    1/2 c. frozen egg substitute
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    *May use either Equal or Sweet One instead of sugar.
