Clam Sauce For Linguine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
3 (7 oz.) cans minced clams
1/2 c. dry white wine
1/2 to 3/4 c. clam broth
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1 Tbsp. each: basil, oregano, black pepper and freshly grated Parmesan cheese
8 oz. linguine, cooked according to pkg. directions
additional Parmesan cheese to taste
Preparation

In skillet, saute garlic in oil.
Drain clams, reserving broth.
Add, stir and saute until cooked 3 minutes.
Add clear broth, wine, parsley, basil, oregano, pepper and cheese.
Cover and simmer at least 5 minutes.
Serve over cooked linguine with additional Parmesan cheese and pepper to taste.
