Caramel Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    1/4 lb. butter or oleo
    1 tsp. flour
    pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Caramelize 1/2 cup sugar; when thin, add to above mixture. Cook until forms soft ball in cold water.
    Let cool.
    Add vanilla and beat until creamed.
    Drop on waxed paper.
