Texas Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. vegetable oil
2 c. self-rising cornmeal
1 (8 1/2 oz.) carton sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies (undrained)
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
In an 8 or 9-inch square baking pan, cover bottom with oil evenly.
Combine remaining ingredients.
Add rest of oil; mix just until blended.
Pour into pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
