Baked Alaska - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 angel food cake
5 egg whites
1 c. sifted powdered sugar
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
ice cream (any flavor)
Preparation

Cut cake in two.
Spread ice cream between layers.
Beat egg whites until very stiff.
Fold in powdered sugar, salt and cream of tartar.
Coat entire cake with egg white mixture.
Bake in 450\u00b0 oven for about 3 minutes.
Slice and serve.
