Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. elbow macaroni (not Creamettes)
6 Tbsp. flour
1 lb. sharp cheese, grated
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 qt. milk
1 c. dry bread crumbs
1 tsp. dry mustard
Preparation

Cook macaroni according to directions for use in casserole. If salt added to water, more will not be necessary in sauce.
Make cream sauce by melting butter and adding flour slowly, stirring constantly.
Add milk, a little at a time.
When sauce is thick and smooth, put in 3/4 of cheese.
Cook and stir until melted. Add mustard and salt, if needed.
