Chicken Almond - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 lb. frying chicken, cut in serving pieces
    3/4 c. California white dinner wine
    1/2 c. sliced almonds
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Combine soups, cheese and wine in large, shallow baking dish. Add chicken, bone side down.
    Cover pan with foil and bake in moderately slow oven at 325\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Remove foil.
    Add sliced almonds and bake 30 minutes longer.
    Serve with rice or mashed potatoes.
