Robbie Ray'S Methodist Cream Cheese Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)
    3 sticks oleo (room temperature)
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. vanilla or lemon extract
Preparation
    Combine cream cheese and oleo and mix well.
    Add sugar and cream mixture until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour and salt; beat mixture for 3 minutes.
    Add flavoring and beat mixture for 2 more minutes. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and place in a cool oven. Turn oven to 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
