Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter (2 sticks)
1 c. Crisco
pinch of salt
8 eggs (add one at a time)
2 tsp. lemon and vanilla flavoring
3 c. flour (plain)
Preparation

Cream the sugar, shortening and butter well.
Add eggs one at a time.
Add salt, flavorings and flour.
Mix well.
Pour into greased tube pan.
Bake in 300\u00b0 oven for 1 hour and 25 minutes.
