Fresh Peach Pies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. water
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. peach gelatin
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 baked 9-inch pie shells
2 to 4 peaches, peeled and sliced
Preparation

Combine 1 cup sugar, water and cornstarch in saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
Stir in gelatin until dissolved.
Mix cream cheese and remaining 1/2 cup sugar in bowl.
Spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of pie shells.
Arrange peach slices over top.
Spoon gelatin mixture over peaches.
Chill for several hours.
May be prepared, using graham cracker pie shells.
Yield: 16 servings.
