Ingredients

1 can sweetened cherries
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. milk
Preparation

Place cherries in an 8 x 8-inch glass baking dish.
Mix dry ingredients
and
add milk.
Pour over cherries.
Bake at 350\u00b0 until cake rises to top and is brown.
