Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cabbage head
    1 medium onion (may omit)
    1 green sweet pepper (may omit)
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. celery seed
    3/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Chop cabbage, onion and green pepper. On this, put 3/4 cup sugar.
    In a saucepan, bring to boil the Wesson oil, vinegar, 1 tablespoon sugar, dry mustard, salt and celery seed.
    Pour hot mixture over cabbage mixture. Cover and keep in refrigerator.
