Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 to 1 lb. bacon
    1/4 c. green pepper
    1/4 c. onion
    3 c. cooked rice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 can tomatoes (1 qt.) large
    1 can (large) tomato sauce
    1 c. grated cheese (Cheddar)
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Crumble and toss 1/2 of bacon in large baking dish. Saute onion and green pepper until onion is lightly brown.
    Add rice, tomatoes, salt and tomato sauce.
    Mix together and put 1/2 of mixture in baking dish.
    Crumble rest of bacon and put on first layer of rice mixture.
    Then add rest of rice mixture.
    Add grated cheese on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
