Caramel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
4 eggs, separated
2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell
Preparation

Combine flour with 1 1/4 cups sugar.
Beat egg yolks and gradually add milk.
Combine flour mixture and egg mixture.
Cook on medium heat until thoroughly heated.
Caramelize 3/4 cup sugar in iron skillet.
Add milk mixture to the caramelized sugar, stirring constantly in skillet.
Cook until thick.
Add butter and vanilla.
Place in baked pie shell.
Top with meringue and bake.
