Easy Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg yeast
    2 1/2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    5 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    Cream shortening, and sugar together.
    Add beaten egg, 2 cups warm water, salt and yeast. Add flour.
    Put dough in greased bowl and grease on top of dough. Cover and put in refrigerator.
    When ready to use, take out as needed.
    Let rise 3 hours.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
