Refrigerator Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 1/2 c. flour
3 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. dry yeast
1 egg
3/4 c. shortening
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Mix dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
Add eggs, buttermilk and yeast water all at once.
Just mix until flour is moist.
Refrigerate.
Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls on baking sheet.
Bake biscuits at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Cover with plastic wrap while dough is stored in refrigerator.
Can be kept and used to make \"fresh hot biscuits\" for a week or more.
