Quick Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. warm water
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/3 c. soft shortening
    2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar and salt and about half of flour.
    Beat 2 minutes with an electric beater.
    Add egg and shortening, then beat in remaining flour until smooth.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls over greased 9-inch pans. Sprinkle topping on and cover; put in warm place until double. Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Bake until brown, 25 to 30 minutes.
