Chewy Pecan Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
1 lb. brown sugar
2 c. biscuit mix
2 c. chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. cream or evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla or 6 drops black walnut extract
Preparation

Put eggs and brown sugar into double boiler and steam for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from fire and while hot add the biscuit mix, chopped pecans, cream or evaporated milk and vanilla.
Bake in a well-greased pan, 10 x 10 x 2 inch in a 350\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
Cut into squares while warm and roll in powdered sugar.
