Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 oz. red food coloring
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs.
Make paste of coloring and cocoa.
Add to mixture.
Add salt, flour, buttermilk and vanilla. Beat.
Fold in vinegar and soda.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
Put into 2 layer cake pans.
