Mexican Beef Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 tsp. salt (or to taste)
    1 pkg. tortilla chips, crushed
    3/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 or 2 cans green chiles (depends on how well you like chiles and how hot they are)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion in skillet.
    Add soup, tomato sauce and paste, green chiles and salt.
    Bring to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
