Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 oz. bottle red food coloring
3 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Mix color and cocoa and let stand.
Cream together the shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla, buttermilk, salt, soda, flour and color mixture.
Mix well.
Then pour into greased and floured pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
