Meatball-Vegetable Skillet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 tsp. salt
few grains pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
2 Tbsp. grated onion
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 pkg. frozen peas
2 c. thinly sliced raw potatoes
4 carrots, cut in quarters
4 to 8 small white onions, sliced
1 c. water
Preparation

Soak bread crumbs in milk.
Place beef in mixing bowl; add salt, pepper, nutmeg, onion and milk mixture.
Mix well, divide meat into 12 balls.
Roll meatballs in flour.
Brown on both sides in oil in skillet.
Add the vegetables and water.
Sprinkle with additional salt and pepper, if desired.
Cover tightly.
Turn skillet to low heat.
Cook for about 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
