Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    vegetable oil
    1 c. Bisquick original baking mix
    1 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
Preparation
    Heat 1 inch oil in Dutch oven to 375\u00b0.
    Mix all ingredients until well blended.
    Drop by tablespoons into hot oil.
    Fry about 1 minute, turning once, until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Serve hot. Yields 15 to 20 hush puppies.
