Easy Italian Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 c. Bisquick
    1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    8 slices American cheese
    1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook and stir beef and onion until browned.
    Stir in sauce, mushrooms, sugar and spices, stirring constantly and then occasionally for 10 minutes.
