Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small can peas (sweet, English)
    1 small can French-style green beans
    1 jar pimento
    1 can water chestnuts, halved
    1 small can mushrooms
    2 onions, sliced (Vidalia, purple and red are really good)
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oil
Preparation
    Sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.
