Marinated Corn-Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. oil
    1 Tbsp. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) can French-style string beans, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can English peas, drained
    1 (16 oz.) can white kernel corn, drained
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Mix together in a saucepan sugar, vinegar, oil, water, salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cool.
    This is the marinade. Combine the beans, peas, corn, onions and green peppers.
    Pour marinade over.
    Mix well and refrigerate 4 hours before serving.
