Everlasting Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water with 1 Tbsp. salt
    1 shredded head of cabbage
    2 large diced green peppers
    5 large diced carrots
    2 large diced sweet onions
    2 c. cauliflower florets
    2 c. broccoli florets
    2 c. sugar (to taste)
    2 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Pour salted water over the vegetables.\tLet stand for 2 hours; then drain well.
