Chocolate Caramel Cheesecake - cooking recipe

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
Preparation

Combine caramels and milk in saucepan.
Cook on low until melted, stirring often.
Pour over graham cracker crust in 9-inch spring-form pan.
Let cool.
Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy.
Gradually add sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Stir in vanilla and melted chips.
Mix well.
Pour over caramels and crust.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
Let cool and refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
