Beef Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (2 to 3 lb.) beef roast
    1 pkg. Lipton dry onion soup mix
    1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
    salt and pepper to taste
    potatoes
    carrots
    water
Preparation
    Place roast in roasting pan.
    Sprinkle half of dry onion soup mix on meat.
    Rub to place flavor deep in meat.
    Spread on mushroom soup right out of can.
    Sprinkle with remaining dry soup mix.
    Cover and bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until half done, usually 1 hour.
