Congealed Cranberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cranberries
    1 1/4 c. cold water
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. celery
    1/2 c. apples
    1/4 c. nuts
    1 pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Cook cranberries in 1 cup water for 2 minutes.
    Stir in sugar. Cook 5 minutes more.
    Soften jello in 1 cup cold water; add to hot berry mix and stir until jello is dissolved.
    Strain.
    Cool. When mixture begins to thicken, add remaining ingredients.
    Chill until firm.
