Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 medium apples
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. melted butter
1 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
2 eggs
Preparation

Melt butter; set aside to cool a little.
Peel, core and dice apples.
Cover with sugar; let stand 2 hours.
Sift flour, soda and spices together.
Beat eggs with fork.
Add to apple mixture. Add cooled butter.
Blend in dry ingredients to mixture.
Add raisins.
Mix with a wooden spoon.
Batter is thick.
Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
