Strawberry Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz. each) pkg. frozen strawberries
    2 small pkg. strawberry jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    2 ripe bananas, mashed
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Mix jello with water.
    Add strawberries and juice, drained pineapple, bananas and nuts.
    Mix well.
    Place 1/2 in bottom of greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.
    Let stand.
    Cover with sour cream. Spread the rest of the jello mixture over sour cream.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Omit sour cream and use as a dessert.
