Pasta Ala Puttanesca - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 clove garlic, mashed
    3 anchovy fillets
    1/2 lb. Gaeta olives, pitted
    1/2 tsp. salted capers
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    14 oz. peeled Italian tomatoes, drained and diced
    1 lb. spaghetti
Preparation
    In heavy skillet, put olive oil and garlic; saute briefly. Lower flame.
    Add anchovies and mash with fork.
    Add tomatoes; cover and cook at high flame for 5 minutes, stirring at least twice.
    Add Gaeta olives and capers; cook at medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Remove from flame and add parsley. Pour over cooked pasta; serve hot.
    Black pepper may be added to taste.
