Fruit Cake Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    2 c. chopped pecans
    1 lb. chopped dates
    1/2 lb. chopped candied cherries
    1/2 lb. chopped candied pineapple
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
    Add flour, salt and soda.
    Add fruit and nuts and mix well.
    Pinch off teaspoon-sized pieces and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
